Your privacy is important to us. Please read below how we may (or may not) use your data

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone at your first visit to the TAXPAS website. They ensure that the website works properly and remember, for example, your preference settings. They also help us to optimize our website. You can opt out of cookies by changing the settings of your internet browser. You can also delete all information previously saved via the settings of your browser. The cookies that TAXPAS uses are necessary for the technical operation of the website and your ease of use.

Functional and analytical cookies

TAXPAS only uses functional and analytical cookies on its website that do not infringe your privacy. Analytical cookies give us insight into the use of the TAXPAS website. We do not need your permission to place analytical cookies. We will inform you about it when you are visiting my website.

Tracking cookies

Cookies are placed on this website by third parties, the so-called tracking cookies. With your permission our advertisers or social media companies place these cookies on your equipment. They use these cookies to keep track of which pages you visit from their network, in order to build up a profile of your online surfing behavior. This profile is also built on the basis of comparable information that they receive from your visit to other websites from their network. This profile is not linked to your name, address, e-mail address, and so on as known to us, but only serves to match advertisements to your profile so that they are as relevant as possible to you. These tracking cookies can be removed centrally via Your Online Choices so that they are not returned to a third party website.

With your permission we place a cookie on your equipment, which can be requested as soon as you visit a website from our network. This allows us to find out that you have also visited other relevant website(s) from our network. The resulting profile is not linked to your name, address, e-mail address, and so on, but only serves to match advertisements to your profile, so they are as relevant as possible for you.

Google analytics

Through our website a cookie is placed from the American company Google, as part of their “Analytics” service. We use this service to track and get reports on how visitors use the website. Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is legally obliged to do so, or if third parties process the information on behalf of Google. We have no influence on this. We have allowed Google to use the obtained analytics information for other Google services.

The information that Google collects is anonymised as much as possible. Your IP address explicitly is not included. The information is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google states to adhere to the “Privacy Shield principles” and is affiliated with the Privacy Shield program of the US Department of Commerce. This means that there is an appropriate level of protection for the processing of any personal data.

Social media buttons

On the TAXPAS website social media buttons are included to promote web pages (to “like” them) or to share them on social networks like Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. These buttons work through pieces of code that originate from Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn itself. Cookies are placed through this code. I have no influence on that. Read the privacy statement from Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn (which can change regularly) to find out what they do with your (personal) data that they process via these cookies.

The information they collect is anonymised as much as possible. The information is transferred to and stored by the social media accounts on servers in the United States. The social media accounts adhere to the “Privacy Shield principles” and are affiliated with the Privacy Shield program of the US Department of Commerce. This means that there is an appropriate level of protection for the processing of any personal data.

More information about switching on and off and removing cookies can be found in the instructions and/or by using the help function of your browser. http://www.taxpas.eu, http://www.taxpas.nl, http://www.taxpas.com and http://www.taxpas.org is the TAXPAS website.
